Presented by

Darlene Kascak - Schaghticoke Tribal Nation

Education Director Institute for American Studies (IAIS) in Washingon, CT

Explore Connecticut history from multiple perspectives to provide a more truthful and accurate understanding of our State's history.  Indigenous people called this land home for over 12,000 years.  Visual & tactile resources will be on hand and participants will learn the many ways that the Indigenous peoples of Connecticut adapted to their changing environment and the impact European culture had on their lives.
